All About...
Mrs. Puglise
Hi there! My name is Katie Puglise and I am so excited for my fourth year as the kindergarten teacher at Middleton Elementary School! I am from Exeter, New Hampshire. I graduated from Keene State College with a BA in Early Childhood Education and Sociology. I taught preschool for 2 years at Great Bay Kids' Company in Portsmouth. I moved to the White Mountains for 2 years to teach kindergarten in Lancaster. I moved back home and bought my first home in Rochester 3 years ago! I am getting married on September 18th on a farm in Madbury!
When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling and adventuring outdoors. I have been to Rwanda, Australia, and New Zealand. I like to hike, kayak, and ski! I have a black lab chow mix named Rondo and a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd named Nola. I love anything Disney!
I chose to teach kindergarten because I love the challenge. Kindergartners come in at all levels and abilities! It is inspiring to be a part of their excitement for learning and it's rewarding to observe their significant growth throughout the year! Kindergartners come in babies and leave as students ready to conquer the world!
